Avalon Laboratories Inc. offers both RT-PCR and rapid antigen testing for COVID-19 at our facility at 5 Sea Rose Avenue in St. John’s, NL. We are also happy to help you find collectors at other locations in the province. Before booking your COVID-19 test, please ensure you know which type of test you require.

Rapid Antigen Testing

$60 + HST – 5 minutes

The swab is collected at our medical clinic at 5 Sea Rose Avenue in St. John’s. The swabbing process takes just 5 minutes. Results are available same day. Your results will be emailed to the address you provide on the Chain of Custody Form. Please check your email’s Junk or Spam folder before contacting the lab about the status of your report.

RT-PCR Test

$125 + HST – 5 minutes

Avalon Laboratories Inc. is nationally accredited to perform COVID PCR testing.

The swab is collected at our medical clinic at 5 Sea Rose Avenue in St. John’s and tested at our laboratory. The swabbing process takes just 5 minutes. RT-PCR Results may take up to 24 hours. Please note, in certain instances, samples may need to be repeated to generate a report and may take up to 48 hours.
